Take the Shore: A Dream (Audio & Video Art)

I have uploaded an audio composition of Take the Shore: A Dream on my SoundCloud page.

I have also recently put up a video with this reading as the sound track on You Tube.

This is another Nationalist Public Radio style offering. I wrote the story back in April. It amounts to the recording of a waking dream, telling the story of someone reviving from the blur of multicultural PoMo society and coming to terms with identity through the old country of his folk. It also deals with man<>woman relationship. Wouldn’t call it a piece for the Manosphere, but I have to admit it deals with the same sort of themes. The story is fanciful like a dream; more symbolic than rational, but still narrative.

The sound effects are from Sound Bible. Some of the sounds are kind of cheesy; I think some of the wind sounds are made by mouth. This serves the old school radio play sound I was going for. The musical pieces are my own compositions.
